I stayed with Sonny and Stella when part of the time I was in college (thanks to the graciousness of Stella) and I remember two things about Mike. One was I used to call him the original Spiderman. Remember the thick wall which separates the kitchen from the living room? Well, Mike could climb that wall like nobody else I know could. He was such a small thin kid, it was amazing to watch him climb. The other thing I remember is one night, Mike fell asleep on the couch and as Sonny was carrying him upstairs he, (in his sleep, apparently) said, "Ouch" several times. Sonny, with a twinkle and fondness in his eyes said,"My son speaks English even in his sleep."
